PROJECT:  East Side High School Gymnasium 'D' Renovation

Client:  Newark Public Schools

Location: Newark, New Jersey

Project Goal:  Terrence O'Neal Architect LLC was retained to renovate the East Side H.S. Gymnasium 'D'. The program included removal of existing flooring, hoops, bleachers, scoreboards, and lighting, in order to provide new major elements of the gymnasium including equipment. The scope of work also included expansion and renovation of Girls and Boys Varsity and Junior varsity locker rooms, Trainer and Coach offices and batting cages, with new lockers, light fixtures, and windows. Total project area is 15,000 SF. The bleachers can seat 385 persons.
