PROJECT: Neighborhood Redevelopment Program

Location: Brooklyn, NY

Project Goal: Terrence O'Neal Architect is retained for this major housing rehabilitation project for ninety-five units in twelve brownstone-style buildings in East New York, Brooklyn. Housing Preservation Development (HPD), Northeast Brooklyn Housing (developer) and Terrence O'Neal Architect have worked closely together to increase the functional capabilities of each building, while not compromising the elegance of the historical facades. The goal is to increase the standard of living for each tenant and redevelop the neighborhood to its original aesthetic prestige without losing its sense of place.
